Fanny Allis new works are a practice in alchemy. The textile and mixed media works in this ongoing series are inspired and directed by remnants and refuselost and overlooked elements of daily life. By using discarded and abandoned objects, the artist tells stories or allegories that are born from societys personal and collective experiencere-imagining shared mythologies anchored in an urban environment.
