Inspired by the photograph of a crocheted afghan, Joyce Lawrence Cambron stretched her design skills to come up with this whimsical quilt. A combination of curved piecing by machine and Y-seams to join the hexagon blocks makes this project something of a challenge, but the finished product is well worth the effort
